Mediation & Alternative Dispute Resolution

If you are involved in a conflict or dispute and are seeking a peaceful resolution, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) may be the right option for you. ADR refers to various out-of-court processes that seek to resolve conflicts and promote creative solutions. One of the more popular forms of ADR is mediation. If you have a case that you think may be appropriate for mediation, schedule a FREE consultation today.

Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process where a neutral third party, the mediator, helps the parties involved in the dispute communicate and reach an agreement. The mediator’s role is to facilitate discussions, promote understanding, and guide the parties towards a mutually acceptable solution.

Mediation offers several advantages over traditional litigation, including cost savings, reduced stress, and increased control over the outcome. The parties involved maintain control over the outcome, rather than being bound by the decisions of the court. Additionally, mediation promotes effective communication and helps preserve relationships, even in cases where the conflict has been intense.

It is important to note that mediation is not appropriate for all conflicts. Some cases may be better suited for other forms of ADR, such as arbitration or collaborative law.

Virtual ADR

While it is preferable to have all parties physically present for dispute resolution sessions, there are times, such as now, when it is not feasible or safe for parties and attorneys to be in the same room or, perhaps, even in the same building. In times like this, Neutral ADR offers Virtual Mediation.

Note that all court programs may not allow for dispute resolutions to occur remotely. For program-specific questions, please contact your local court ADR program.
